Concerned that the current crisis around the Iranian nuclear program has reached a new stage, with the possibility of a military option by either Israel or the US against Iran more and more an option that is considered and openly discussed, Pugwash Secretary General Paolo Cotta-Ramusino wrote a paper outlining some historical context and ways to preserve peace in the Middle East.
