This working group addressed: (i) Prospects for a stable and peaceful political, economic, and security transition in Afghanistan and the role of regional actors in ensuring this; and the potential impact of these transitions on regional stability; (ii) concrete steps that can be taken to make forward movement on bilateral political and economic relations between India and Pakistan in the short to medium term; and (iii) specific proposals for forward movement on the Kashmir dispute.
