Ana María Cetto is Professor at the Institute of Physics, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Chair of the UN Independent Scientific Panel on the Effects of Nuclear War. She is a former member of the Pugwash Council and former Chair of the Pugwash Executive Committee. As the Chair of the Pugwash Advisory Board, Prof. Cetto is ex officio a Council member.
