Alexander Nikitin is Professor of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Chief Researcher at the MGIMO Institute for International Studies, and at the Center for International Security of the Institute for World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO), Russian Academy of Sciences; President Emeritus of the Russian Political Science Association; Deputy Chair of the Russian Pugwash Committee.
