Jennifer Allen Simons is the Founder and President of The Simons Foundation; Adjunct Professor, School for International Studies, and Senior Fellow, Centre for Dialogue, Simon Fraser University; Member of the international Advisory Board of the Centre for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, Australian National University; Founding Partner of Global Zero; Member of the Canadian Government Delegation to the 2000 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference and 2002 NPT Prepcom; Served as a Board Member or member of Advisory Board for some 12 organizations; Appointed to the Order of Canada for contributions to the promotion of Peace and Disarmament; Recipient of both the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee and the Diamond Jubilee Medals.
