From March 1-4, 2010, Pugwash facilitated a delegation of senior European leaders, led by Des Browne MP, to Washington, DC to discuss European attitudes to nuclear arms and disarmament policy with the Obama Administration. The aim of the delegation was to understand the current situation within the Obama Administration on key items related to the agenda springing from the President’s landmark April 2009 Prague speech on nuclear arms and disarmament.
