Jennifer Allen Simons is the Founder and President of The Simons Foundation Canada. She is also an Adjunct Professor, School for International Studies, and Senior Fellow, Centre for Dialogue, Simon Fraser University; Member of the international Advisory Board of the Centre for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, Australian National University; Founding Partner of Global Zero; Member of the Canadian Government Delegation to the 2000 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference and 2002 NPT Prepcom; Served as a Board Member or member of Advisory Board for some 12 organizations; Appointed to the Order of Canada for contributions to the promotion of Peace and Disarmament; Recipient of both the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee and the Diamond Jubilee Medals.
