J. Enkhsaikhan is the Director of the Blue Banner NGO. He is a career diplomat of Mongolia with wide experience in multilateral affairs. He served as the national security advisor to the first democratically elected President of Mongolia in 1993-1996, when Mongolia’s national security and foreign policy concepts were adopted. He is known as the architect and implementer of Mongolia’s nuclear-weapon-free status that enjoys wide international support. He is the founder of Blue Banner, a Mongolian NGO devoted to promoting the country’s nuclear-weapon-free status. Has written extensively on issues of international security and non-proliferation.
