7 November 2025 – A new anthology “Science for peace and development at UNESCO” brings together insights from 46 Nobel laureates’ essays alongside perspectives from world leaders and former UNESCO Directors-General, including one authored by Pugwash Secretary General Karen Hallberg.
“Bridging science and global governance: Pugwash and UNESCO in the service of peace” identifies several possible areas of collaboration that Pugwash and UNESCO may jointly address at the intersection of science, ethics, and global responsibility.
